The forth track from the English Melodic Death Metal Band Voragan's first EP, released 1st of August 2012.
lyrics
Your words were poison,
A storm of lies,
On blackened wings your soul dost fly.
I thought I had you,
You, my friend,
But separation we shall tend.
After all the laughs
And all the smiles,
You on my conscience is so vile.
One small mistake,
A huge regret,
But I haven't missed you yet.
I spoke out against you,
And so you pushed me away.
So I stood on top of the world,
Thinking do or die.
Yet as I turned away from the edge,
You pushed me and I fell away.
So I lost everything I had,
Like a fallen angel.
I love her more,
Than I can say,
But still you pulled her away.
All that it would take,
Was that I forgive you,
Instead a hole in my heart you blew.
So now I'm broken,
Beyond repair,
Yet I can guess you do not care.
When you walked into my life,
I did not know you'd bring such strife.
Rotting down here in your synthetic hell, my shreds decompose, your wish granted. What was ridden with despair, is now dead; no hope, I accept my fate. That I'm gone, you know it and repress; you want me back but the rope won't stretch. I feel I never knew you, you never wanted me to so now I feel like a leaf in heaven autumnal.
I never knew you anyway,
Like a fallen angel!
Fallen Angel hear my pleas,
Fallen Angel hear me!

August 2010 in the east of England saw the first buds of the band pushing their way into existance. Since then the band has
gained a decent repetoiré of material based on melodic death metal sound, but with their own twist.
The band now boasts violent, evocative growls and delicate clean vocals, memorable riffs and harmonies, grinding, powerful chords and explosive, merciless drum-beats....more
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024
